HISTORY
GEMCHEM is well into its third decade
of providing environmental waste disposal services. Founded in 1980,
GemChem is still under original ownership, allowing continuity of our
company's philosophy to provide consistent quality service at reasonable
prices. During this time, we have closely followed the development
of regulations at both the state and federal level. At the same
time, we have developed a strong reputation for customer service that
includes a prompt response to our clients' needs along with a conservative
approach to costing.
GEMCHEM is a permitted Solid Waste Disposal
and Processing Facility and a licensed hazardous waste transporter.
In addition, we also have an approved ten day in-transit hazardous waste
transportation facility located contiguous to our permitted facility but
isolated from our residual waste processing.
Our permit and license allows us to store,
transfer and process all kinds of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
materials. GemChem provides complete tracking for our clients and
can provide detailed information at any given time. GemChem can also
provide "upon request" Certificates of Disposal.
GEMCHEM's Field Services Division has
successfully closed several complex PA ACT2 projects, thereby securing
Releases of Liability for our clients. Our Senior Geologist, a
Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Geologist, possesses a thorough
knowledge of regulations and has an extensive project resume that
showcases his qualifications. We welcome you to take a
