Restricted Areas Signs VS Secure Area Signs

All facilities have Restricted Areas, but now they also have Secure Areas as well. The regulations are very clear on Restricted Areas, but what about Secure Areas?

Well, if an entire facility is designated as a Restricted Area the Coast Guard is not requiring specific Secure Area signage.

But, if only portions of a facility are (designated as) Restricted Areas then (the designated) Secure Areas must have the appropriate signage. General guidelines for signage are to display the sign at the entrance of the Secure Area and then every approximately 100 feet around the perimeter, similar to the guidelines for Restricted Areas.
